Works on sedimentology, cartography of anoxic levels of Jurassic and Cretaceous, and petroleum geol- ogy. He has studied actively on macroinvertebrate assemblages (mainly ammonites and brachiopods) of Pliensbachian-Toarcian with biostratigraphic interest for the correlation with other areas of North Africa. Moreover, part of his research is focused on the incidence of T-OAE and OAE2 on the foraminiferal and ostracod assemblages.
